Amatiteña was created by engineer Alberto Partida Hermosillo, a third-generation master tequilero, and is named for his hometown of Amatitán, Jalisco, where agave has been cultivated since the 1700s. The brand positions itself as a defender of ancestral Jalisco traditions, from the agave fields through slow, artisanal production.
