Arette

History

Arette was launched in 1986 by brothers Eduardo and Jaime Orendain at the El Llano distillery in the town of Tequila, extending a family tequila lineage that dates to 1900 and now spans five generations. The name honors Arete, a Mexican Olympic gold-medal show-jumping horse chosen as a symbol of excellence, and El Llano remains one of the oldest independent family-run distilleries in the region.
