Don Modesto

History

Don Modesto honors Modesto Toro Anaya of Tototlán del Oro, Jalisco, whose family raised cattle and cultivated agave from the early 1800s. He made tequila the old way until his death in 2007, when his lands and methods passed to his family, who created Modesto Spirits to carry the tradition forward, presenting the tequila in bottles hand-blown by Jalisco artisans.
