Fuenteseca Reserva is the project of Enrique Fonseca, an agave grower's son from Atotonilco el Alto who taught himself distillation when his family's Los Altos harvests outstripped demand. Travels through Kentucky, Scotland and France studying aged spirits convinced him that time and raw-material quality were everything, and the house now releases some of the oldest tequilas ever bottled, including expressions aged up to 30 years.
