Komos

History

Komos is the flagship ultra-luxury tequila of Casa Komos Brands Group, the venture master sommelier Richard Betts founded with Joe Marchese in 2019 after building and exiting Sombra Mezcal and Astral Tequila. The brand fuses Mexican production, from highland and lowland agave to volcanic stone ovens and pot stills, with a Mediterranean wine-world sensibility, including aging in French oak wine barrels and amphora-style ceramic bottles.
