History

Manuscrito was created by three friends from Wisconsin, professionals and fathers who set out to make a refined, artisanal tequila for both connoisseurs and casual drinkers. It is produced in Los Altos at the El Sabino distillery in Jesús María, run by fourth-generation agave grower Roberto López Anaya, with chemist-turned-master-distiller Oscar Vazquez leading production, and the brand organizes its releases as 'chapters' in keeping with the manuscript theme.
