Rey Sol

History

Rey Sol is the luxury extra añejo of Casa San Matías, one of tequila's most established houses and notable for being owned and run by a woman, Carmen Villarreal. The standard bottling matures six years in medium-toast French oak, and its sun-shaped crystal decanter, designed by famed Mexican artist Sergio Bustamante, is presented as a piece of art in its own right.
