Suave was created through a partnership between a young entrepreneur and Jaime Villalobos Sauza, a descendant of the family behind Sauza Tequila, with the goal of restoring tequila's reputation as a refined sipping spirit. Villalobos Sauza previously served as an official catador for the Tequila Regulatory Council, and the brand produces certified organic, kosher single-estate tequila in the Jalisco highlands, deliberately prioritizing quality over volume.
