Blood Orange Margarita
The winter margarita: blood orange brings color and a bitter edge that plain lime cannot, and an optional whisper of Campari leans into it. A clean blanco keeps the whole thing honest.

2 oz Verified Pure blanco tequila
1 oz fresh blood orange juice
0.75 oz triple sec
0.5 oz fresh lime juice
0.25 oz Campari (optional, floated)
Method

- Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass.
- Float the Campari over the back of a spoon if using; garnish with a blood orange half wheel.
Panel note
Blood oranges run December through April. Outside the season, skip the imitation juice and make a Classic Margarita instead; this drink is the fruit or it is nothing.
